Drycon was established in 2007 by Dave Drynan and Gary Knibbs merging their existing companies. The company was predominately a plumbing company, and has expanded into the civil and pipeline fields, as well as plant machinery hire and sales.
The Drycon company is made up of Drycon Plumbing, Drycon Civils & Pipelines, and Drycon Plant Hire.
Drycon has been a supplier of plumbing services to both domestic and industrial customers for over 4 years. In that time, we have built a solid reputation of being professional, reliable and competent in all aspects of the work we perform. As a result we are a highly skilled company specializing in civil, industrial and commercial services; pipelines; storm water drainage and are actively involved in the construction of both welded steel and welded HDPE pipeline projects and have undertaken sizable projects in both these areas as well.
We currently own a range of plant equipment, including HDPE pipe welding machines (ranging from 28mm to 650mm in diameter).
Dave and Gary have instilled a valuable ethos in the company, which is simply to invest in people, treating them fairly and with respect. Drycon has prided itself on the successful relationships with its staff, other professionals and clients, and endeavours to leave a favourable and lasting impression.
Apart from Johannesburg, Drycon offers its wide range of services across South Africa and Southern Africa.
Drycon currently employs over 60 staff members, including six experienced foreman.
We are respected in the civils and pipeline field, and through years of expertise have developed excellent long-term relationships with many local authorities, consultants and major contractors alike.
Drycon has recently achieved a South African Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) grading of which allows us to tender and undertake contracts of an unlimited value.
